On average, a notary public will cost from $0 to $20 if you were to go to their office. You may find that your bank will notarize something for free, however, this is only available to customers.

Public companies, usually charge from $5 to $10 to have a one-page document notarized. And some professionals could charge anywhere from $3 to $7 a seal.

Now, the cost will differ greatly if you wanted a notary to come to your location, mobile notaries can charge anywhere from $25 to $45 for the first couple of signatures so long as you were within a 15 to 20-mile radius. And, for every additional document, you should plan on adding another $5 to $10 for every notarization.

What are the extra costs?

If a notary needs to come to your location, a delivery charge will be applicable. Very much like the document fees, most states have laws in place that do not allow a notary to charge too much for every mile they have to travel.
